Dune's 'Most Exciting New Writers & Arrangers in British Jazz' series continues with saxophonist Binker Golding's Quartet performing an evening of straight ahead modal jazz performed with bags of energy.

The line up is Binker Golding - tenor saxophone, Rick Simpson - piano, Pete Randall - double bass and Graham Godfrey - drums.

The group's first set will be original repertoire by Binker, while the second set will feature compositions by the Branford Marsalis Quartet, who are the group's foremost influence.

Binker Golding was born in Tottenham and schooled in the saxophone and music composition from an early age. A graduate of Middlesex University and the Guildhall School of Music in Jazz, he has played with and alongside Abram Wilson, Gary Crosby, Dennis Baptiste, Jason Yarde,  and has become a member of the Tomorrow's Warriors quartet & Jazz Orchestra. The Binker Golding Quartet recently performed a residency upstairs at Ronnie Scotts and can be heard in various spots around London.
